Turn recipe screenshots into a meal planner with OpenClaw

Send your saved recipes to OpenClaw and get a planner you can use on your phone, with dinner swaps, portion sizes and one combined shopping list.

The short answer

Send OpenClaw the recipe screenshots you have saved and ask it to build a meal planner you can open on your phone. Your agent turns the recipes into a collection, makes a week of dinners, and builds a combined shopping list that changes when you swap a meal or change the number of people. The planner lives on the agent’s computer, ready to use again next week.

An Everpod pod gives your agent an always-on computer to keep your recipes and run your own planner. You describe what you want in chat; the agent builds the app.

Turn your saved recipes into a weekly planner

These are recipe screenshots I’ve saved. Build me a meal planner I can open on my phone. Plan a week of dinners from these recipes for [number of people], let me swap any dinner and change how many people I’m cooking for, and keep one combined shopping list that updates with those changes. Keep the recipes so we can use them again. Put the planner online and send me the link.

Attach your screenshots to that message in Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord or Slack. Use screenshots that show the ingredients, quantities and serving count. The file-sharing guide covers attaching files from your phone.

Your agent reads the recipes and builds the planner around them. The finished app holds the dinner choices and shopping list together, so changing the plan changes what you need to buy.

Open the planner on your phone

Send me the link to my meal planner and tell me what I need to do to make it available on my phone.

For an Everpod pod, the agent directs you to the pod’s Settings → Public address switch. Turn it on and tell the agent it is on; it sends you the working link. The planner at that address is publicly reachable, so use recipes you are happy to put there.

Open the link on your phone and save it as a bookmark. The app runs on your agent’s computer, so your laptop does not need to stay open.

Change dinner without rewriting the shopping list

Choose the number of people you are cooking for in the planner. The quantities scale from each recipe’s serving count. Swap a dinner for another recipe and the shopping list updates to match the new week.

Ingredients used by more than one dinner are combined. You get a list for the week instead of separate lists to add together yourself. Open that same planner when you are choosing meals and when you are shopping.

Add the next recipe you want to cook

Add this recipe to my collection and make it available in my meal planner. Keep the recipes I already have.

Send the new screenshot or paste the recipe with your message. Your agent updates the collection and planner on its computer. The next week can draw on the recipes you have already saved as well as the new one.

What it costs

Building and revising the planner uses the model usage included with your pod. The amount depends on the model and how much work you ask it to do. Your pod page shows how much usage is left.

Your own open-source AI agent, set up for you.

Everpod runs OpenClaw on a private, always-on computer of its own: set up, secured and backed up, with model usage included. You name your agent, and say hello about fifteen minutes later.
